TidyStack V1 - Privacy Note
Privacy
TidyStack runs on your computer. The file moves happen locally. Most of what TidyStack touches never leaves your machine.
Here is exactly what leaves your computer:
Sent to Anthropic (Claude): the names and basic metadata of the files in your Downloads folder — filename, extension, size, modification date. Anthropic uses this to suggest where each file should go. The file contents are never read or sent. Anthropic's data handling is covered by their API terms and privacy policy.
Sent to Telegram: the action plan (the same filenames and the suggested destinations) and your ‘Approve’ / ‘Refine’ /’Reject’ responses. Standard Telegram bot communication, between your TidyStack instance and your own bot. Telegram's policy is here.
Stays on your computer: the file contents themselves, your Anthropic API key, your Telegram bot token, your config file, and the log file.
Not collected by me: I do not run a server. I do not see your filenames, your scans, your config, or your usage. I have no analytics, no telemetry, and no account system. The only thing I receive is what you choose to send me directly — for example, an email asking for support.
